Quartz video broken in core duo macbook

Yep.. I can use default or opengl..
If I set it to quartz (which has the best record for quality, stability, and efficiency for me for the past few years).. I get a black screen instead of video feed.

WHOOPS!... I didn't read the intel sticky...
