OSX Intel commandline crashes

Postby jlamanna » 09 Oct 2006 00:59

When trying to use clivlc with 0.8.5 on a MacBook I get the following error:
$ /Applications/VLC.app/Contents/MacOS/clivlc -v=2
2006-10-08 15:54:12.164 clivlc[4762] *** Uncaught exception: <NSInvalidArgumentException> *** -[NSPlaceholderDictionary initWithObjects:forKeys:count:]: attempt to insert nil value
Trace/BPT trap

And then clivlc just exits.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

More debug output:

Hi, I'm new to VLC forum, and I had the same trouble.

I've resolved using

Code: Select all

-I dummy
as interface options to pass to clivlc
