RV24?

Does anyone know if it is possible to convert an RV24 AVI to a Quicktime format using a Mac. So far I can find no method to even play it. I have tried VLC, MPEG Streamclip, Quicktime and ffmpeg. It seems that in VLC parlance it should be i420_rgb but so far I can't get it to even display the video.
Having said all that, is there a free method on Windows or Linux to convert it?
