BUG: http port number increases when setting prefs
Posted: 27 Aug 2006 14:17
MacOS X 10.4.x, PPC and Intel Mac (v0.8.5 and 0.8.6svn)
Windows XP on some 386 box (v0.8.5)
The http interface port number is increased by one every time the preferences are opened. The result is that the port number changes from 8080 to 8081 to 8082 etc on subsequent open/change/saving of prefs.
To reproduce:
Prefs, Check Advanced
Interface, Main Interfaces, enable http
HTTP setting is blank (8080 default)
Verify web interface on 8080, fine.
Save settings, quit
Launch VLC
Go to the http port setting again, surprise! It's now 8081.
