cannot play file

whenever i try to play any one of this group of songs i downloaded, i get the following message:

ffmpeg: av_find_stream_info failed
ps: cannot peek
main: no suitable demux module for `/:///Users/orisinal/Music/Azureus/Gorillaz - Discography 2001-2005/Gorillaz [2001]/09 Double Bass.mp3'
macosx: Error: Unrecognized format for '/Users/orisinal/Music/Azureus/Gorillaz - Discography 2001-2005/Gorillaz [2001]/09 Double Bass.mp3'
any advice as to what i should do?
