Changing sync of subtitles (faster/slower)

Is there a way to speed up the playback of subtitles when the subtitle file is not properly synced with the video file? I've done this in Korean players like Gom and Adrenalin and it's usually really easy (a Function key like F5, etc) but I can't figure it out in VLC. Help please?

Edit: found answer in a post on the Windows forum. On Macs, just press j or h to delay or speed up subtitles (50ms at a time). In Windows, Ctrl+J and Ctrl+H. So glad, that was killing me.
