version 3.0.20 under MAC OS:
it seems colour profiles are not respected.
apples screen saver videos deviate from color.
there is no vlc pref to change that.
why?

VLC 3 does not support HDR video rendering on macOS, so there will be a difference in representation. This is fixed for version 4.
