Choose Audio Delay for Bluetooth Devices

Postby whg-19 » 11 Mar 2024 21:21

Hi there,
I have a serious problem using VLC on macOS and streaming the audio (opening a audio file from a folder) signal via bluetooth: there's always a light delay cutting the first milliseconds of every song. Is therefore a possibility to active a short delay before VLC starts ?
Thanks in advance
Wolfgang

Hello,

VLC automatically detects the delay of your bluetooth devices so audio is in sync with video.

However, the bug you describe is actually happening with wired connections, too, as it is a bug in the VLC core clock code. It will be fixed for version 4 but cannot be correctly solved for the on-going v3 release series.

Sorry about that.
