Cannot update to 3.0.19 from within 3.0.18

It's been over two weeks now since v3.0.19 was released. I don't see any major issues mentioned in this forum, so when can I expect to be able to update from within the app?
I know I can download it from your site, but I always prefer to wait until it's available from within the app, so I can avoid any bugs in a new version. I'd rather let other users do the beta testing for me

We see issues on Windows, so I'm not sure when we are going to release for all platforms with the in-app updater.

It's possible this is because of issues checking the signature within the app.
Go ahead and download it, remembering to check the signature or checksum or both.

FYI, VLC 3.0.20 for Windows was released this morning and will be available on macOS within the next minutes including the updater within the application.

I was notified of the 3.0.20 update earlier today and just now downloaded and installed it.
Thanks for getting back to me.
