Setting max volume for multiple vids

Using VLC for Mac Version 3.0.18
MacOS Ventura
We get multiple home vids from different sources, put them in a playlist and let them run from clip to clip. Not all volume levels are set the same (of course) so someone has to man the remote to adjust volume from clip to clip. Is there a way in VLC to set a max volume that all clips in a playlist adhere to? So that louder clips automatically lower and quiet clips automatically raise the volume?
