red tint when playing videos in VLC

Hi, videos play with a red tint in VLC player. Colors in Quicktime look more natural and accurate. See the following images (VLC screenshot, followed by Quicktime screenshot). The difference is admittedly a bit subtle, but it's been bugging me. Thank you.
