How empty contextual menu in the dock

Hello everybody,

When you rightclick on the VLC icon in the Dock you obtain a contextual menu listing the last video files you have read.
It may be convenient, it may be intrusive. So how empty that menu ?

Hey Pascal,

In VLC media player menu bar, File > Open Recent > Clear Menu

this will clear recent items in the menu bar and the dock icon.
