I am using Version 3.0.18 Vetinari (Intel 64bit). My Mac has an M1 processor but the download file was supposed to be for both.
I have copied time_intf.lua and time_ext.lua into VLC.app/Contents/MacOS/share/lua/extensions.
Time v3.2 (Intf) appears in the Extensions menu.
The time format stays --->Clear<----
I select [E] / [D][_]([T]) as a format.
SETTINGS has Enable Interface checked for time_intf
When I click START!, the button blinks once but gives no indication that the input has been recorded.
If I close the window and open it again from the Extensions menu, I am back to --->Clear<----
If I click SAVE on SETTINGS, I am told to restart VLC for changes to take effect.
I quit VLC and restart it. I open the window again from the Extensions menu, and I am back to --->Clear<----
If I choose a format, click START! and play a video, I still don't get the extended time display.
What am I doing wrong?
