Can I convert Flac files in batch to burn to audio cd?

Hello all! I've been using VLC media player on my Mac for years now. But all I ever really did with it was listen or watch things. However, I was trying to help a friend and also possibly myself to see if I could use it to burn CDs from Flac files.

There seems to be a way to do this according to a lot of searches that I've done that give answers. But pretty much all of them, mention a "drop down media menu". On my Mac, I do not see that menu. I see only the standard Mac drop down "file" where "menu media" should be. And none of the options that are listed in any of these help pages appear there. For example I don't have the option in that menu "convert/save" I only have convert/stream". Maybe I won't be able to do this on the Mac, maybe I'm being too optimistic with this incredible tool. But maybe I'm just missing some thing in how the interface and/or the preferences work. Can anybody help me here?

In any case, this is a very valuable tool, and I'm really glad to be here in this forum to learn other things about it aside from this particular problem.

Well, after perusing the forum, apparently this is not possible. So my alternative question is I'm still not finding out a good workflow to be able to convert one file at a time from flac to an audio CD – ready file. Can anyone help me out here?
