Can VLC player play faster than 4x ?

Perhaps i missing something, but this does not work at all with VLC v3.0.17.3 on Macbook. i checked the hotkeys in preferences and it's not listed. i tried setting it as a hotkey and it did not go above 4x in playback speed.

Can VLC player play faster than 4x ?
