Possible to show a static picture when the played media has no video?

Postby Anic297 » 19 Jun 2022 15:06

Hi,

With a playlist containing both audio&video and audio-only files, I'd like VLC to show a chosen picture when it plays audio-only medias, but show the actual video when it plays audio&video medias (similar to when “watching” radio channels on a TV, where a picture tells it's a radio broadcast).
How would I do that?

Hello,

You could add a cover image into your audio file (possible with mp3, ogg, m4a, flac...)
