Partial sound through usb-c hdmi issue

Hi,

I am using an HDMI adapter through USB-c on a Macbook Pro going to Sony Bravia.

I have an issue with playing movies, that basically send partial sound (background noise, music, claps etc.) but the conversation is inaudible.

Please halp!

Mac OS Big Sur
Macbook Pro 13, 2.4ghz, 8gb, Intel Iris
