show subtitles in two languages at once

I'm hoping I can show subtitles in two languages in once (mac os, Version 3.0.16 Vetinari). Is this possible? I have done some searching and seen a few mentions but none that make any sense

I believe there is a vlc extension for that. Not sure it works on macOS.
