VLC crashes when opening video files

Hello,
VLC started crashing right after the opening of all video files (QT-apple pro res or H264), only sound files can be read.
Last report was sent to VideoLan, but I couldn't manage to read it.
I am working on Catalina on an I-mac Retina 5K (3,8 GHz Intel Core i7 8 cores - memory : 64 Go 2133 MHz DDR4 - graphic card : AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16 Go).
Does anyone have an idea of what the problem can be and of what we can do to solve it ?

Are you using VLC 3.0.16? Did you try to reset VLC's preferences?
