Cannot play 264 file

Hi there,
I cannot play 264 file on VLC. I have the latest version of VLC and using it on macOS Monterey.
I cannot work out how to post the file onto this post for people to troubleshoot and let me know where I am going wrong, but the file is called A211216_112722_112736.264
I have adjusted the input/codecs > demuxers and saved h264 video demuxer.
Still nothing.
Does anyone have any solutions?

Did you restart VLC after changing the setting?

Yes, I restarted VLC after making changes / saving demuxer change.
Sorry for dumb question, but how do I attach file on this board? LOL dumb question, but I cannot work out how to do it???

It isn't a dumb question.
You can upload your files through another web service(wetransfer, etc.) or cloud services(GDrive, iCloud, Mega, Dropbox, etc.).

OK - interesting, so you are saying it is a problem with the framerate not being documented in the file.
Is there an easy way to fix this, as I cannot really understand what the thread in
https://www.spitzner.org/kkmoon.html is saying. I am also using a mac and saw the .exe file, so I also assume this person was using a windows machine.

I'm not sure if version 3.0.2 version is available for the macOS but I was able to have playback of .264 files.

I downloaded 3.0.2 at
https://get.videolan.org/vlc/3.0.2/macosx/vlc-3.0.2.dmg, but unfortunately, when I load the file VLC crashes.

So after a while of trying to deal with this, I have found an easy solution, although it is not perfect. I have found these products work to decode the scrambled frame speed.
Try
https://iina.io/ for a mac
Try Genbolt Cam Video Player at
http://genbolt.com/blog/downloads for windows.
Hopefully, this helps anyone else with the same issue.
