4K video jitter on an M1 Max MBP

Anyone know why I would be experiencing dropped frames with a 4K mkv file? 10-bit SDR

I've searched and found the advice "h/w acceleration is off & comp too slow". I went to that webpage that lists 12 meticulous settings to change in order to fix 4K video. No luck.

If the newest MacBook Pro can't handle the file...what can? Or could it be an encoding error?

I think it was just the file
