Size of hidden text on DVD

Hi! We have a DVD without text. However we prefer to have it.

You can have hidden text for hearing impaired but the text is to big.

Is there a way to change it?

I know you can change size for subtitles but that doesn't work.

Subtitles on DVDs are stored as bitmaps and not as text. VLC cannot change the bitmaps (nor resize) and since technically it is not text, the subtitles options don't apply. Sorry.
