VLC 0.8.4a crash with MKVs

Postby zepretender » 08 Jan 2006 11:06

I'll try to do my best with my bad english.

When I want to read MKV's (it worked already), VLC (0.8.4a) crash.
I've tried to repare autorisations (disk utility), and completly uninstall VLC (prefs + software). Nothing : it crash too.

What's the matter ? VLC trie to launch the file and... nothing.

thank you

Perhaps the file has an embedded font in it. We recently discovered a problem with our matroska handler on those types of matroska files.

Will it be fixed in nightly builds ?

That bug should already be fixed in the nightlies.
