Why the macOS app says it's IOS kind app ?

If you go on "Storage Management" with a M1 Mac, you will se that the VLC app is "iOS" kind app, i just wanted why, if a reason exist :D

I have absolutely no idea. By default, VLC on M1 Macs will be arm64-only (so no universal binary), so this might be what confuses this panel. On my M1 Mac mini, the intel variant of VLC is correctly identified as such, the 4.0 development version as "iOS" (even though it is definitely the Mac app, that is totally different to what we ship on iOS) and the latest 3.x for arm64 is listed as "Older Versions" (whatever that means).
