update to 3.0.12 messed up video size

Did a quick search and didn't see anyone else report this. Once I updated to the latest version, whenever I double click on a file to play it, the video interface shows up so compact, the video isn't even viewable:



if I drag the top of that window, it suddenly opens up to the correct size. But I can't figure out how to make it start like that by default!

I uninstalled, and re-installed, but that didn't help.

Please reset the preferences. There is a button to do it in the Preferences panel accessible through the VLC menu.
