Automatic rewinding?

Hello!
Tried search and didnt find anything. Vlc is automatically rewinding my videos after i stop watching my podcasts. I think it is giving me a “previously on this podcast”, like a recap. Sometimes it rewinds 2 min, 5 min, or 15 min. I cant tell. How do i stop this? Tia
