Problem using a personalized equalizer

Hi! I just switched to macOS, and have installed VLC. There was a particular equalizer preset I used before, but i'm not able to accurately set it up. My gripe is that the numerical values of each band of the equalizer are not shown on the mac VLC, so I'm stuck with a visually approximative setting to what I had on the windows version. I tried entering the values in the Equalizer subsection of Advanced Settings, like I also used to do, but it doesn't make any difference on the audio.

Any advices?
