Errors with compiled 3.0.11.1

Postby EP99 » 03 Nov 2020 15:21

Using a compiled version of 3.0.11.1 on a mac (funning 10.14.6). Commands listed below were working with a compiled 3.0.10

When I issue the following command these errors are generated -- note that 23.mp4 is a file located in the current directory -- the current directory is VLC/vlc-3.0.11.1/build/VLC.app/Contents/MacOS and I have mapped VLC to lc vlc within the environment:

Code: Select all

Can anyone assist with why these errors? Thanks very much for assistance you can lend. Note these work on a Ubuntu system we are testing as well.

Not really sure, since I haven't built VLC in a bit, but maybe a clue here: https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?t=155167 ?
Providing logs, messages, configuration info (VLC, OS, Hardware) and a clear explanation of the issue always helps the problem solvers help you, even if they don't end up solving the issue. Just think what you would need if you were solving someone else's problem. Additional: Always looking for eager and capable MacOS X developers to join the VLC team - for more information see here.
