I have tried searching for a solution for this problem but so far I have found nothing so I am hoping that someone here can help me with this weird problem.
The same files are behaving differently on my Macbooks, on one of them subtitles loads and displays perfect and loads directly. On my other one they will not load no matter what, I have tried placing them directly in the movie folder, loading them manually, updated to the latest version of VLC but nothing helps.
The subtitles are in .srt format and they are the same ones that works perfectly on my other computer
