Amcrest IPC RTSP -> VLC -> video.mp4?

I’ve been streaming video from our 2 Amcrest wireless cameras using VLC to both display and encode the video stream to a file.

VLC can encode the RTSP video stream from the older Amcrest model IP2M-841 directly into .mp4.

But, while VLC easily encodes the full RTSP video from the newer model IP3M-941 into several formats (e.g. .ts, .avi), the resulting .mp4 file is audio only

Are there settings in VLC that would force the IP3M-941's .mp4 file include the video?
