Croppadd not working

Hi, I use the snapshot tool automatically take screenshots of DVDs; using the scene filter to automatically generate screenshots. The DVDs often require a crop to remove black lines from the top, bottom, right and left of screen.

When I Snapshot manually the output file displays the perfect image - however when the screenshots generate automatically using the 'scene' filter the saved file still displays the black lines - so the 'croppadd' isn't working.

I have tried so many different variations of crop but there is clearly a problem between what is being played on VLC to what is actually outputting to file.

Any ideas?
