Hi,

When reading a file coming from an external disk, VLC displays a warning message in a distinct pop-up :

[English]
Problem accessing a system resource
Potentially, macOS blocks access to your disc. Please open "System Preferences" -> "Security & Privacy" and allow VLC to access your external media in "Files and Folders" section.

[French]
Problème d'accès à une ressource du système
Potentiellement, macOS bloque l'accès à votre disque. Veuillez ouvrir "Préférences système" -> "Sécurité et confidentialité" et autoriser VLC à accéder à vos médias externes dans la section "Fichiers et dossiers".

However the specified menu does not exist in Mojave. It appeared in Catilina.

The reading of the file is ok, but this pop-up is annoying.

Can someone please fix this annoying dialog ?
Something like :

if macOS Catalina && accessing external drive
Then popup();
Else no-popup();

This is a known issue and should be fixed for 3.0.11 which will be released soon.
