Hello Everybody,

the player has problems playing video files on my external hard drive. the error message appears but the files can still be played. Does somebody has any idea ?

Operatingsystem: Mac OS Catalina 10.15.4

Error Message:

"Problem accessing a system resource
MacOS may be blocking access to your hard drive. Open "System Settings" -> "Security" and allow VLC to access your external media in the "Files and Folders" section."

But in the Mac OS Settings is set to: full disk access

I have this exact same problem. Sometimes it will load folders but then they disappear, sometimes it refuses to load them at all. Security settings allow VLC, same as you. I m really hoping for a solution.

Please ignore that message for now, this is a known issue which will be fixed soon.

An update was just released to address this issue. Please update.
