I have a question!

Is VLC STREAMER LITE, available in the apple Appstore, an official product? It says it is by Hobbyist Software and not Videolan...

I like the idea of being able to stream media via VLC from my computer to my iphone. Is this product safe? Is it supported? Does it work?

No, this is no app developed by Videolan.

The official VLC app is called "VLC for Mobile".

Can you set up a stream from media on a home mac, and play it through VLC Mobile over a home network?
