YouTube no longer streams after Catalina install

Recently installed Catalina Vs 10.15.2 Perhaps coincidence, or not; I'm no longer able to stream content from YouTube in VLC. I copy the video's URL, open VLC - File>Open Network
Network tab is highlighted - Paste in URL
Click "Open"
VLC will act like it is starting to stream the video, The time bar is briefly activated, then it abruptly stops.

I've tried completely uninstalling VLC and reinstalling. No change.
Hardware/Software
iMac
4Ghz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
34GB DDR3
AMD Radeo R9 M295x 4GB
OS Vs 10.15.2
VLC vs 3.0.8

That has nothing to do with Catalina, Youtube changed something on their website. This should be fixed soon with VLC 3.0.9.

That's good to know. I was unable to open a YouTube link on Lion which is 8 versions behind Catalina. They change their schemes intentionally so that a fewer developers could make apps that offer users something other than sticking around on YT site.
