VLC won't open if I am not connected to the internet. is this isolated to me or anyone else?
Now when I turn it back on and open a file to play.

Here is what the Terminal Shows before and after wifi is off.
Now when I turn it back on and open a file to play.

Thanks for the report, this is fixed in 4.0 git master now and will be fixed for VLC 3.0.9.
