audio stops working when skipping with high playback speed

I am listening to a lot of video lectures, that I speed up to 2.5x. When the playlist skips to the next item or when I seek to a different part of the video, the audio stops working. The video still goes on like normal, but the audio remains mute. The only way I have found to fix this is to set the playback speed back to something slow like 1 or 1.2x and then go back to the high speed.

I have tried high quality and low quality videos, with different formats and extensions. Is there anything I can enable or disable to fix this?

These logs are with the same test video, at 4x. it starts off working, then I skip to a different section and the audio stops working.

I found that the only file types that don't give me this problem are .ts stream files.

I face same sort of problem. When I play network source (https://player.vimeo.com/video/306143088?byline=0&portrait=0 for example) and change playback speed within x1.0 to 1.6 by hotkeys the audio is sometimes muted for about second or a little bit more. With actively changing playback speed it's critical. I run Windows 10, but problem seems for all versions.
