White lines/ shadows bug?

Hi All,

All of a sudden my VLC has started showing/ drawing white lines/ shadows on my videos. Please see link to the photo of my laptop screen at the bottom of the post (don’t know how to attach images to posts).

I haven’t changed any settings and cannot figure out how to stop it doing this.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Reset VLC's preferences in the VLC menu. This is a video effect filter that was accidentally enabled.

Thank you very much! That’s worked.

Am back to normal now.

Must have been some keyboard shortcut or something I pressed to activate the filter.
