How to lock volume at 100%

Postby coolboy195 » 02 Jun 2019 23:07

Pushing the sound up 200% by swiping two fingers up is really terrible
Someday it will make my speaker broken
Please give me an option to lock the volume at 100% or disable swiping two fingers up
I'm using OS X 10.14.5

We currently don't expose a way to permanentely lock the volume. However, there is a very well hidden setting to disable the swipe gesture. Go to Preferences -> Show All -> Interface -> Control Interfaces -> Hotkeys and disable the scroll gesture for volume.

If you are running VLC 3.0.16 and above there is a new setting location for this change. Go to Preferences -> Show All -> Interface -> Hotkey Settings -> Mouse Wheel Vertical Axis Control and select "Ignore"
