VLC Nightly Build Crash on OS X

Brief:

VLC Nightly Build crashes on OS 10.13.6 in builds after the one released on January 14, 2019

Current VLC 3.0.6 does not crash and previous build from 1/14/19 does not crash.

IF this is a known problem that my searching could not find, sorry for the bother.

Longer:

Searched the site and tried the trouble-shooting including resetting preferences. I realize that this is a "Nightly" but since it has continued to be a problem where the application will not open for the last few days I figured either someone knows about it or should. I can provide a crash report if helpful.

This is a known issue because the source code is broken on macOS. It will be fixed in a few days we hope.
