Bug — can't see elapsed time

I use VLC to screen videos I'm analysing for work.
It used to be possible to click the timecode and switch between time elapsed and time remaining. Now, on Mac OSX High Sierra, VLC only shows time remaining.
There are posts about this from a while back and I'm wondering why it hasn't been fixed?
Cheers,
Dan

Where is the time code you are looking at? In fullscreen or in windowed mode? This appears to be working here, so I'd like to make extra to sure to verify your issue.

Hi everyone
I am using Version 3.0.8 Vetinari on MacOS Catalina and need to switch between elapsed time and remaining time. The standard "click" on the time does not appear to be working and I can't find anything in the menus that looks as if it would have that effect.
I only use windowed mode.
Am I missing something?

Update to my query:
I have found this info on the web:
"Unlike the Window mode, when in the Full Screen mode you don’t get to see the time (remaining and elapsed) by default, there is a shortcut though for you to get this information; simply hit the T key on your keyboard to fetch 3-second info on the top right hand side of the Full Screen mode."
This trick with the "T" in windowed mode also seems to have reset the timecode to elapsed time, which is what I wanted.
However, if I then want to toggle between elapsed and remaining time, I still can't.

Thank you for the shortcut. Unfortunately, it still won't toggle between elapsed time and time remaining. Any ideas?

Simply double click the time elapsed / remaining, and click ok on the "Jump to time" pop up. Boom. It toggles between both each time.
