macOS Mojave - VLC 3.04 won't play DAV files

Hi,

I'm trying to open DAV files on my Mac (with macOS Mojave v10.14.1) with VLC (v3.0.4) but without success.

I changed in the menu "Input / Codecs - Demuxers - Demuxe module" from Automatic to H264 video demuxer.

I did the same procedure on a Windows 10 with VLC (v3.0.4) and works without any problem.

Can you help me figure out what is the problem?

I have this same issue. I've downloaded a few other DAV specific converted but they all fail to open the DAV will with "invalid format..." errors. WTF?
