How to blank second screen?

Postby giiman95 » 15 Oct 2018 00:48

Hello,

I'm using VLC for playback of an event. I'll be using a macbook pro with a hdmi cable and the latest release of VLC.

Due to the nature of the video we will be using, we will need to pause and scrub playback to the next section.

To avoid distraction for the presenter and audience, is there a way to blank the screen (like you would on a projector)?

Thank you

Regrettably, there is no such feature in VLC. Sometimes, this can be done with the projector itself.

Is there a way to blank the first screen? I run a hdmi from my computer on my office desk to my living room TV. I would like to turn my screen off on the imac while I watch on the living room tv.

Use your brightness function on your keyboard would be the easiest way.
