VLC 3.0 Fullscreen Player Controls Wont Go Away?

Running VLC 3.0.0 on new macbook pro 10.13.3 macOS High Sierra.

I have used VLC player on mac for years and was always able to set the player controls scrubber to hide when in fullscreen and never show if I moved my mouse. Now in 3.0.0 on my new mac I can not get that to work. The option used to be in the basic settings of preferences which its no longer there. I went into advanced settings and found an option there and it was disabled already but still shows the player controls in fullscreen.

Is this a bug?

I made a quick video showing my settings and how its not working: https://www.useloom.com/share/53e722bb4 ... e9c379df04

As you can see in 2.2.8 on my other mac running 10.12.6 macOS Sierra The setting to hide player control on fullscreen is right on the basic settings and works.

You're welcome. Thanks and look forward to being able to continue to use VLC with my new mac.
