Panasonic TX-50DXW784 DLNA and VLC

I have an Panasonic TX-50DXW784 TV. This shares with DLNA the TV programs over the LAN.
With VLC 2.2.4 I see only the name of the TV and a warning-label in the ‘Universal Plug'n'Play‘ menu.

I got an hint in the Panasonic forum, that VLC 2.0.8 would work - that do it indeed.

I use an Mac (El Capitan 10.11.5) and with there are no problem to have installed both.

What could I do to get the videos from my Panasonic TV with the current VLC 2.2.4 or the new comic VLC 3 too?

I have a Panasonic DMR-BWT850EB and can see the index of film etc using UPnP but clicking on any one of them gives rise to the error message "Your input cannot be opened" VLC i unable to open 192.168.1.2:60001/AV-0 etc.

I have tried using the latest download version and the latest 3.0.

What am I doing wrong?
