Main Window Minimum size

Mac OS 10.9.4
VLC Player 2.1.5

In a future version of VLC Player, I humbly ask that the minimum size for the Main Window be reduced. I use VLC Player for audio files as well as video. I never use iTunes. When in use for audio playback, the main window contains the playlist and for my purposes does not need to be as large as it is set as the minimum size. I do not want to change the layout or appearance or anything else, simply the size - height and width - of the window.

Thanks.

Do you need to see the playlist at all at that time? If not, click the Show/Hide Playlist button (3 Horizontal lines) and it will collapse down to just the control bar. Still the same width, but a lot shorter.

I would suggest to hide completely the side bar:

Sidebar is hidden already thanks, asoksevil. I wish to reduce the size of the window itself below the present fixed minimum.

I know, but it's not "completely" hidden as you can appreciate from the picture...
