Troubles with a particular MKV

It just says there loading forever...

PS. It does load but takes around 20 seconds. Newer libass might help!

I have the exact same problem with some .mkv files 1080p 10bit I just downloaded!

The font config cache is regenerated, which should be only needed once. Just wait until it continues playback. (The new VLC version will include a progress bar to make clear that the program is doing something useful here...)

If you try to play the file the second time, it should start immediately.

If you try to play the file the second time, it should start immediately.
Yeah, that's what happened.

The very first time that happens it doesn't show any window nor anything and if you look at the activity monitor it could also show VLC as "not working"... but if you let it regenerate the font config cache, then the second time you open it should be fine.

Good to hear that next versions will show a progress bar (waiting for 2.2.0!)

What do you mean by wrong size? Subtitles size?

What do you mean by wrong size? Subtitles size?
