Menu bar icon?

I have looked several times through VLC menus and preferences and I am not seeing an option for toggling a small control icon button in the Finder menu bar; does this exist, and where might I find it? I'll be pretty surprised if I've missed it and if it doesn't exist, either way!

Hey Allan,

we don't support that at this point (a patch would be welcome!). However, you can right-click on the icon in the dock to get access to basic playback controls.
