Watching video from iTunes library

Postby Kindread » 20 Dec 2013 18:52

Hi. I have video that I have uploaded to my iPad mini, which I can watch with the built in ios video viewer. However it seems to be having issues with subtitles and I would like to see if vlc works better. Is it possible to load these videos in vlc. If I go to the media library in vlc nothing shows up. Unfortunately I don't have access to a PC now, so I can't simply add them to vlc's files folder

Regrettably, VLC does not have access to the videos synced using iTunes. All it could do is presenting them exactly the same way as the included playback application does as the system does not allow direct file access - so you'd have exactly the same issue within VLC. For this reason, we decided against even showing those files.
