Error messages

Whenever I view an .avi file with VideoLAN, when it finishes playing the file I get the following message

access_file: seeking too early

Anybody have any clues on how to rectify the problem?

Your AVI file is broken. Either the application used for its creation got bugs or your download introduced errors inside the file.
